again with the lady bird lake

September 9, 2014 by Faith Benitez

Really, again. I love the natural beauty of our city. I love the hike and bike trails around the river (aka Lady Bird Lake, or if you’re an “old timer” like me, Town Lake). I love seeing the soft glow of a first mornings light reflected on the water. These are just a few of my favorite things and a few reasons why I love Austin. Why do you love Austin? With love, as always, Faith   Advertisements

Lady bird lake

September 3, 2014 by Faith Benitez

Three times a week, I meet a girlfriend to walk the hike and bike trail around Lady Bird Lake. There is never a morning I don’t have the thought “I’m in the middle of the city, but there is so much green! I love how much dedicated green space Austin has!” I’m a lucky girl to call this fair city of Oz my home. What do you love about Austin? With love, as always, Faith

What is your favorite water fun? We’d love to hear from you! Pick up a postcard from around town OR, you can request a postcard (send […]

I’ve got Ninja Style Kung Fu Grip, Y’all

July 29, 2014 by Faith Benitez

It was a gloriously hot day in ATX yesterday as I walked across the Lamar Pedestrian Bridge, dropping off WWLA postcards. As I dropped cards, I couldn’t help but stop and take in the mirror quality of the water, the ever changing skyline, the canoers, pacman, ninja style, the Cyprus tress, the cranes sprinkled in the skyline, AND EVERYTHING AUSTIN. What do you love about Austin? What do you love about the pedestrian bridge? We’d love to hear […]
