today is my best friend’s birthday. that means it’s a good day. she doesn’t want people to wish her a happy birthday, but instead give a compliment to someone you haven’t talked to in awhile, or someone you know that needs some kinds words in their life. and in lieu of gift, a donation made to her favorite comedy troupe, Comedia A Go-Go’s gofundme campaign. this is the kind of fabulous she is.
and because of what sort of special day today is, i can’t think of a better day to share these two postcards… i opened my po box to find an original bort and original goodluck buddha. i am so freaking excited about this, y’all. if you aren’t familiar… they are both local street artists that i follow (i share a lot of their work on the socials, and in fact, shared a post inspired by goodluck buddha (here if you care to see) not too long ago. i suggest you follow their adventures on instagram (@bortart and @goodluckbuddha) to keep up with their work, i promise you won’t be disappointed.
so, for my best friend’s birthday wish….. bort, goodluck buddha, i love your works, please keep it up and thank you so much for sending postcards in- you made my day ❤
do you want to send in some art? (of course you do!) send it to:
