It’s my favorite day of the week, y’all! [Insert “you’ve got mail, yay!” here]
We’ve got quite the range of emotion going on here, nothing, Kenneth Johnson (stay tuned for a post next week about Kenneth Johnson), topless women and a sad look at the realities of homelessness. The one thing I do know is that you have to have the sadness to know the love and the good and the awesomeness in your life.*
As promised, I have a winner from this past month to announce! Congratulations, “Scottles” – I’ll be emailing you soon with winning info. To see the winning card, click here!
We want to hear from you – if you see a card while you’re out, pick it up (see the list here), fill it out and send it in! The list is ever growing, but in the event you cannot find one while out or are a business that would like to keep some postcards at the counter, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org- we’re happy to send/drop off some postcards!
I do hope everyone out there has a lovely weekend- we have promises of heat, so I hope that means frosty beverages and swimming for you all.
With love, as always,
*on a personal note, I struggled with posting the “sad” card. But in the end I called on the resolve I made with myself at the get go, I had promised ALL postcards sent in will be shared. In the end, the more we share our honesty and our true selves, the more room we have for sharing love. And, at the end of the day, that is what it is all about-love.
