I started my past weekend with a lady date with my best friend, by indulging our sweet teeth. We met at Dolce Neve on
South 1st and had gelato for dinner. (Please go – the charm of the old home that houses Dolce Neve and the charm of the
staff is just as deliciously sweet as their gelato). After feasting and catching up, we took a stroll down S 1st, in vain efforts
to justify our dessert dinner (really, totally worth every delicious calorie). While walking, I noticed that on each utility pole,
there was an art gallery installation of sorts. Along the street, every pole was adorned with photos, sometimes notes, puzzle
pieces and sometimes a “frame” for the photo. Each was different, and some poles you could tell where the photo once was,
only the puzzle pieces stayed behind. Looking at the photos together, I see a little pieces of a bigger puzzle, giving hints to
a larger picture.
You can find these gems on South 1st between Oltorf and Barton Springs. Which is/are your favorite(s)? Do you know the artist?
Are you the artist? If you do/are, we’d love to hear from you! Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or leave a comment below.
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend and a great start to the week!
With love, as always,
