Who’d Stop at 30… Shoes?

Admittedly, I am a very lucky girl. One of the things I love so much about the fantastic city I so lovingly call home is my family. You don’t get to chose your family, so I must have done something right when whomever did the choosing for me picked out some incredible people that I am honored to call ‘my family.’

This past Wednesday, I celebrated my 30th birthday. Other than fun celebrations and the inevitable reflection of years past, the thing I look forward to most is the hand painted card created by my dad (who also drew out the background for this site, by the way).

And, so I ask… who WOULD stop at 30… shoes?

Coming later this week: Austin in the fall, postcards and more!

  1. Don’t you love it when someone knows you that well? What a special gift. Thanks for posting.

Thirty. I remember that birthday. It was the first time I felt like an adult. I have been going backwards ever since so now I’m like 21. I hope I don’t get carded.
